At Marlinspike we make factual audio programmes for radio, podcasts, and all those places where sound can provoke an emotional effect.

We are a setup of two people, Tom Cutler and Marianne Saabye, with years of broadcast experience in radio and television, and a longtime love of human stories told in sound. Based in an old ship-building port near Brighton, on the south coast of England, we work with composers, actors, musicians, and audio engineers to bring our subjects' stories to life. By homing in on the emotional essence of natural and human-made sounds, including voices and music, we produce compelling documentary sound stories beyond words alone, to awaken the ready imagination of the listener.
